 내가 쓰러지기만을 기다리는 독수리들을 말합니다. 살점을 뜯어먹으려고..

 가사중에 'my lungs are whitewashed'가 있는데 내 폐가 흰 색으로 칠해졌다?! 무슨 소리인가 생각해봤더니 x-ray 사진에 흰 색으로 칠해진 폐를 말하는 거였습니다. 무기폐(atelectasis)는 폐가 쪼그라드는 현상이라고 하네요. 쪼그라드는 쪽에 x-ray 사진이 흰색으로 나옵니다. 당연히 호흡곤란이 올 것인데, 폐 두 쪽이 다 그러면 심각한 수준이겠죠..
